Ciara is set to host this year’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, along with Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy.

The Grammy-awarded singer will be ringing in the New Year for the West Coast, hosting the party from Hollywood, while Seacrest will host from the East Coast, live from New York City. McCarthy will be giving commentary on the ground, as has been done in years past.

What’s more, this is the first time Ciara will appear on the show since 2005, when she performed “Goodies” and “1,2 Step.”

“When I performed on this show back in 2005, I was so young and it was so special and exciting to be part of such an iconic show,” Ciara said in a statement about the hosting gig. “Over 10 years later, it’s a really great feeling to say I’ve had the opportunity to host and perform on the show and I can’t wait to ring in the New Year with the world.”

The show will feature performances and celebrations from around the world as 2017 turns into 2018, and will lead in to a countdown to midnight on New Year’s.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2018 will air on ABC on Sunday, Dec. 31, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
