Supermodel Chanel Iman just got engaged to New York Giants’ Sterling Shepard and she shared the happy news on Instagram with her 1.4 million followers.
She posted an image of Shepard down on one knee along with the caption, “A night full of tears of happiness I’m beyond excited to spend the rest of my life with you @sterl_shep3 you are my soulmate, my best friend, my everything! Can’t wait to be your Mrs.”
Shepard, 24, proposed to Iman at home in New Jersey on the model’s 27th birthday.
The ring is gorgeous with a rose gold setting and a round diamond.
She thought the two were going out to dinner together afterward but when they got to Spin Ping Pong NYC she found all her friends and family waiting to celebrate the happy occasion with the couple.
The entire affair was a “complete surprise” according to those in the know.
The newly engaged couple toasted their happy news with limited edition Moet & Chandon Nectar Imperial Rose X Public School champagne.
