On Monday, Time revealed its shortlist for “2017 Person of the Year” and it’s already shaping out well.

The Person of the Year award has gone to people, both good and bad, that Time feels have most influenced the world. It’s been awarded to notable people since 1927.

One of the names on the list of the final ten picks this year is Colin Kaepernick, the former 49ers quarterback who sparked the #TakeAKnee protests last year. The protests have swept the NFL this year and have even drawn attention from the President of the United States.

The other final picks include Amazon CEO Jeff Bezo, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, United States President Donald Trump, and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Also in the running are the Dreamers, the children of undocumented immigrants whose parents brought them into the United States. Their fate is still in the wind as Democrats have threatened to let the government shut down if the Dreamers question remains unresolved.

The final shortlist candidate is not a person but a movement: The #MeToo movement. This movement prompted millions of women to speak out about sexual assault and sexual harassment that they had experienced. The movement was meant to shine a light on how prevalent this problem is and sparked a time of reckoning for those who had gotten away with abuses of power for too long.
