Omarosa Manigault is out of the White House, and President Donald Trump sent her his best wishes on her way out.

“Thank you Omarosa for your service! I wish you continued success,” Trump tweeted on Wednesday.

It is a much more subdued tweet than the reports of Omarosa’s exit would suggest. According to American Urban Radio Network’s White House Correspondent, April Ryan, Omarosa’s exit was the stuff of reality television, as she had to be escorted from the White House by security after pitching a fit over being fired.

Ryan said that Chief of Staff John Kelly was “tired of all the drama” and was the one to push for her exit.

However, Omarosa wasn’t pleased with the idea of being pushed out of the White House and wanted to know if Trump had approved. When Kelly said that he had, she still wanted to talk to Trump.

That’s when she decided to try to go to the residence to see him, according to Ryan, and when security stopped her and told Kelly about it, Kelly had her escorted from the White House by security.

“It was very ugly,” Ryan said.

Even though Omarosa is out of the White House, she is still reportedly hoping to stay in politics and is jockeying for Trump to get her a position at either the federal level or at the state level in Florida.
