Prince Harry and Meghan Markle unveil stunning engagement photos

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially released their engagement photos.

The royal couple look absolutely stunning together. With Harry in a blue suit and Meghan in a black dress, the married couple to be look downright regal in the first picture, posing seated on some steps.

The second picture, in black and white, features a close-up of the two of them, smiling at each other as they touch foreheads. Meghan’s engagement ring is easy to spot, as are their bright smiles.

A third photograph, also in black and white, released by Kensington Palace shows them walking hand-in-hand around Windsor, simply enjoying each other’s company.

“As a way to say thank you, they have decided to share this candid photograph from the day of their portrait sittings directly with all of you,” Kensington Palace said in a statement. “The couple are so grateful for the warm and generous messages they have received during such a happy time in their lives.”

‘An incredible honor’

The pictures were taken by fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski, who gushed about the royal couple after the session.

“It was an incredible honor to be asked to document this wonderful event, but also a great privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for one another,” Lubomirski said, according to a statement from the palace. “I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together.”

Harry and Meghan have already set the wedding date, too. We’re already looking forward to the wedding at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018.

As the world waits for the royal wedding in a few months, Meghan has been enjoying her first Christmas with her soon-to-be in-laws. In fact, she recently attended the Queen’s Christmas luncheon and a staff Christmas party before that.

Congratulation, Harry and Meghan. We can’t wait for the wedding!
