Jemele Hill releases statement explaining her departure from ‘SportsCenter’

Jemele Hill did it her way.

The now former ESPN SportsCenter anchor set the record straight on why she is leaving to join The Undefeated.

Hill tweeted out a brief statement Friday, putting rumors that she was demoted to rest. Joining The Undefeated was Hill’s decision, she says, because she wanted to return to “reporting, writing and commentary.”
