We can all agree that Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan is the hottest star in Hollywood and apparently it’s not just because of his breakthrough performance Marvel’s latest blockbuster.

“I was a pyromaniac growing up,” Jordan admitted during the newest episode of “First We Feast.” “I used to live next door to my grandmother. And she used to always have incense. I used to light a match and I used to just spark that on fire. Just literally light it on fire.”

“I would take the incense and poke it through the shower—the plastic shower curtains,” he added.

As you can imagine, his grandmother wasn’t too happy with her grandson’s obsession with fire.

“I had my fair share of whoopings,” Michael B. Jordan admitted.

Of course, anyone who’s been following Jordan’s career knows that his pyromaniac proclivities are ironic, since he played the character of the Human Torch in Fantastic Four.

And apparently playing with fire wasn’t the only way that Jordan got in trouble. The star, who broke hearts as the rogue revolutionary Killmonger in Black Panther, said that he was inspired by the Fast & Furious franchise and used to take his parents’ car out to go racing around Jersey City.

Breaking records

Thankfully Michael B. Jordan left the bad boy behavior in the past and is now focused on using his own super powers for good in Hollywood. He’s been enjoying massive success with Black Panther, the biggest, Blackest movie of the year.

Over President’s Day weekend, the biggest, “Blackest” movie of the year shattered records with a three-day opening of $201.8 million. Once you include the holiday, the  four-day take estimated was said to be at least $235 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It also broke a record on the popular film review site Rotten Tomatoes, where the film debuted to a perfect 100 percent fresh score. That makes it the highest debut for a Marvel superhero film to date, according to the Daily Dot. With a current 98 percent “want to watch” rating score as well, the movie is riding high at the box-office.

Breaking hearts

And in addition to killing the boxoffice, Micheal B. Jordan is killing us on social media as well.

Jordan is breaking some hearts after a flirtatious tweet with Black Panther’s Lupita Nyong’o that seemed to indicate the two were a little more than co-stars.

“@Lupita_Nyongo Bring them chocolate cakes back,” he wrote Feb. 19. “You ready for round 2? #YouKnowYouWantThis.”

Lupita played right into it and replied: “No dessert until you come correct,” she wrote, complete with the hashtags #YouKnowYouWantThis #YouAintReady.

But MBJ fans can breathe easier knowing that the two stars were only participating in an MTV game show. Michael B. Jordan admitted that the rumors that the Black Panther duo are dating is false.

The two co-stars are also having fun with one another with some physical activity. According to Esquire, Jordan lost a bet to Nyong’o and now she has the power to make him do push-ups, wherever she wants, whenever she wants!

Hot stuff indeed!
