Atlanta rapper recorded his own murder on his cellphone
The mother of rapper Rahim Grant told Channel 2 Action News that her son complained to her about the mother of his child Ciera Harp so she urged her son to get any evidence of their tumultuous encounters on video.

Rahim Grant allegedly had a confrontational relationship with Harp, the mother of his child. And it was a tumultuous relationship that turned deadly after he was shot seven times.
Ciera Harp is now a murder suspect but she claims that she shot Grant in self-defense after he attacked her with a knife. However, authorities are saying Rahim Grant captured the fatal encounter on video and the footage captured on his cellphone tells a different story.
In fact, Grant recorded his own murder.
“(I told him) get the video, record it and lay the phone down,” his mother Geraldine Grant Bryson recalled.
“It’s unbelievable. There is no way anybody would believe this,” said attorney, Sean Joyner about the footage.

Officers told Jones that in the recording, Harp shoots Grant; he pleads for water and expresses a desire to hug his daughter.
Rahim Grant’s mother said all she wants is justice.
“I just want her to realize that you just don’t go around killing people,” she said.
Police were only able to get the cellphone footage of the fatal shooting of Rahim Grant after speaking with Harp about a medical release.
Police told Channel 2’s Tom Jones in the videos she can be seen screaming that Rahim Grant that he had been beating her for four years.
“It broke my heart. It just … it’s something you don’t think when you just talked to your son,” said Grant’s mother.
