Funnygirl Marsai Martin is making moves in Hollywood and pitched an idea that will now be turned into a Will Packer comedy called Little.

According to Shadow and Act, the 13-year-old Black-ish star will executive produce the comedy based on the story of a woman who—when the pressures of adulthood become too much to bear—gets the chance to relive the carefree life of her younger self.

Marsai is a busy bee and her Black-ish co-star grandpa Laurence Fishburne is also eyeing the little actress to play a science genius in Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, which is being developed for Disney Channels Worldwide and hails from Black-ish and Grown-ish executive producers Fishburne and Helen Sugland. Marsai is a big fan of the 9-year-old black girl genius and received Moon Girl comic books for her birthday.

Little will be directed by Tina Gordon (Peeples). Actress Regina Hall and Josh Martin will also executive produce. Packer will produce for his Universal-based Will Packer Productions with his production partner James Lopez and black-ish/grown-ish creator Kenya Barris.

Fresh Off the Boat writer Camilla Blackett is said to be currently rewriting the latest draft of the script.

Two other untitled Will Packer comedies have been given release dates of Friday, November 15, 2019 and Friday, May 15, 2020. And Deadline reported that Packer was also developing the action comedy, Fight Night. Universal also recently acquired the pitch for the latest Packer/Kevin Hart collaboration, On the Run.

Little is set to release September 20, 2019.
