CNN anchor Don Lemon, took to Twitter to clear the air about an error he made in reporting that Fox News failed to cover the exit of White Communications Director Hope Hicks.

Lemon made the error in his reporting of Fox News’ coverage and had to retract an earlier statement after FNC’s Chief White House Correspondent John Roberts, who’d done FNC’s first report about Hicks, addressed the misinformation.

During his Feb. 28 prime time CNN show Lemon called Fox News “Trump TV” saying:

“I was sitting in my office and I was watching all of the news channels, right. Trump TV or state run TV, they’re not even reporting this. So, Trump supporters? They don’t even know about these stories, it doesn’t register, that’s the amazing thing.

“We cover all of these things every day. The White House imploding behind him, and he’s standing there going, nothing to see here. But his supporters probably don’t even realize the extent.”

Lemon later tweeted a retraction:

In response to Lemon’s initial remarks, Roberts said over Twitter:

In over one year, the Trump administration is saying good-bye to its fifth communications director. Hope Hicks, a 29-year-old former model with no political experience before joining Trump’s presidential campaign, has resigned. Her last day has not yet been determined. Hicks’ exit comes the day after she was grilled for nine hours by  a House of Representatives intelligence panel about the Russia probe. During the questioning, she admitted to telling “white lies” for Trump that were unrelated to Russia.
