Janet Jackson wasted no time calling the cops after a nanny tipped her off that her ex-husband was acting aggressively toward her one-year-old son.

Jackson’s estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana, had the baby in his custody at the Nobu Hotel in California, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Police showed up at the hotel to do a welfare check on baby Eissa, after a nanny secretly called Jackson with concern, saying that Al Mana was “behaving aggressively,” toward the baby.

In a statement to ET, Jackson’s brother, Randy Jackson, confirmed that the nanny “locked herself in a bathroom so she could contact Janet.”

Janet Jackson called police worried about her son, but they left the hotel after determining that the one-year-old was not in danger.

Jackson and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, called it quits last year after giving birth to a baby boy in January.

The news was first reported by The Mail, and a source told them “They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart. It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.”

Jackson is reportedly in talks with Netflix to do an intimate documentary series about her life after her divorce and her efforts as a new mother.

Although Janet Jackson has been keeping a low profile since the split from Al Mana in April, a source told The Sun that she is ready to put herself out there: “Janet has been fiercely private about her life in the past but feels the need to keep her fans in the loop with what life has been like since she went into hiatus ten years ago.”
