An Oregon food cart worker went off on a black customer who tried to pay for her food in change.

An angry Islam Elmasry went on a racist tirade, calling Carlotta Washington the n-word for trying to pay for her food in quarters. The troubling ordeal was caught on camera, reports the New York Daily News.

Elmasry can be heard trying to shoo Washington away from his Portland halal cart, saying “get the f–k away.” He then chucks a Gatorade bottle at her head. Washington said the abrasive exchange also included Elmasry throwing hot Sriracha chili in her eyes but that was not caught on video.

“It was in my eyes and all on my skin. It was burning terribly,” Washington says.

After witnesses called the police, Elmasry was taken to jail and charged with misdemeanor harassment and assault.

It seems that workers in Oregon got some racist issues.

In an unrelated story, an Oregon woman’s post about a racist grocery store clerk’s behavior went viral lst week.

A woman at an Albertsons store in Gresham, Oregon, attempted to help out a stranger after she came up short at the register. According to Jacki Carroll, the white cashier on duty refused to let her help a Black shopper and made some blatantly racist comments in the process.

Carroll says was waiting in line when it became apparent the woman in front of her didn’t have enough money to pay for her groceries.

The unidentified woman was using WIC food stamps to pay for her items when she discovered she was only $12 short. That’s when Carroll’s attempts to be a Good Samaritan were thwarted by the cashier, identified only as “Debbie.”

“[I] said, ‘I will pay,’ and she said, ‘No!’ Very abruptly,” she said in an interview with KATU. “Literally, she raised her voice and said, ‘No, you don’t need to do that.’”

“I go, ‘Well I don’t mind, just let her have her stuff,’” Carroll said she told Debbie, who then responded, “‘No! You’re not going to do that. She has WIC. She gets her free stuff.’”

The shamed mother they were fighting over eventually left the store with only what she could afford.

“‘That’s why they have babies, so they can keep on getting all of the free stuff,’” the cashier continued as she rang up Carroll’s order.

After a stunned and dismayed Carroll left the store, she contacted the manager, demanded that the store apologize to the woman with the WIC food stamps and requested Debbie be disciplined.
