BABY JOY: LeToya Luckett and husband expecting first child together
The announcement was the sweetest thing ever.
LeToya Luckett is one happy lady. The former Destiny’s Child member just revealed she’s pregnant. This will be the first child for Luckett and second for her husband, Tommicus Walker.
The singer and actress shared the good news on Instagram with the help of her adorable stepdaughter, Madison.
“BIG NEWS from MADISON,” she captioned the video that showed Madison reciting a sweet poem and making the big reveal with ultrasound photos.
“We feel immeasurable joy,” Luckett told Page Six in a statement. “Babies are a blessing, and we’re excited to bring life & light into the world.“

Luckett is gearing up for the release of her latest project, a starring tole in TVOne’s movie, Down For Whatever.

The film chronicles Tracy, a young successful doctor and her detective husband, Mike. Although happily married, one thing has always been missing in their relationship – a sense of family. Tracy grew up in foster care and longs for the traditional family environment that she never had. When Mike suddenly loses his partner in a senseless cop-killing, Tracy is there to support him. That is, until she receives an unexpected visit from a social worker who informs her that the ruthless killers suspected in the murder are her biological sisters, Denise and Sonya. Tracy is overwhelmed and in disbelief by the news, but before telling her husband, she decides to track her sisters down herself.
The film premiered at the American Black Film Festival in Miami earlier this month and LeToya talked about her rise to success in the entertainment industry during a star-studded brunch hosted by Cadillac.
