Meet the youngest female rapper to score a major record deal

There’s a new female rapper on the block that we should be saying attention to and she’s only 11-years-old. Alaya High (Lay Lay) just inked a deal with Empire Records, making her the youngest female rapper to ink a major record deal.

The Houston-born youngin’ is now an Atlanta resident and she shared the big news on her Instagram page.

“It’s official!!! I am the YOUNGEST FEMALE RAP ARTIST to sign a record deal???,” she posted.  “I would like to thank my fans @empire @queenalphashawn @buttamurphy @djcone and my DAD @aciehigh_aciehigh44 for making this possible. Look out for my first single “Go Lay Lay Go” ALBUM ON THE WAY!!! ????.”

Last month, the tweenager gave a shout out to her deceased label mate, XXXtentacion in a freestyle she spit over Drake’s song, “I’m Upset.”

“Can’t leave the kids alone/Rest in peace XXXTentacion/Glad I get to try and make a difference for XXXTentacion/Now your girl on the same label as XXXTentacion,” she rapped in the video share don social media.

Folks are already impressed with her impressive skills and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for Alaya High.

She first went viral in May after debuting a freestyle over Blocboy JB’s “Shoot” beat and caught tons of attention from people who couldn’t get enough of her epic flow.

Now, her Instagram page is full of videos that feature her showing off her skills while riding in the car while flaunting some pretty fabulous hairstyles.
