This Weekend Judge Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court, but could he still be impeached by Democrats?

In a new interview, Senator Cory Booker was asked about whether Democrats would try to impeach Kavanaugh if they win back the House majority.

“The reality is, right now, Republicans control the House and the Senate, and there’s no way to do even an investigation unless we flip one of the houses,” Booker told Yahoo News. “So I think even before you start focusing on questions about his truthfulness before a Senate committee, you’ve got to focus on the urgency of the work over the next 30 days, and that’s where my focus is.”

He didn’t rule it out, which basically means get out and vote.

This Sunday, NFL player Eric Reid played his first game with the Carolina Panthers. The former San Francisco 49ers player wasted no time taking a knee during the national anthem, making him the first Carolina Panther ever to do so.

Reid and Colin Kaepernick have filed a grievance against NFL owners for collusion in response to their protest against racial inequality and police brutality.

In other news, First Lady Melania Trump is getting heat for the hat she chose to wear on a Safari trip in Kenya.

The First Lady wore a white pith helmet, which is often associated with English colonizers.

In response to the criticism, Melania Trump said she wants people to focus on what she does and not what she wears– but given her last “I don’t really care” coat controversy, it seems some of her fashion is meant to be a statement.
