When news broke this week that Kanye West was going to visit his president Donald Trump at the White House many were concerned.
The main point of the conversation was supposed to be prison reform, American manufacturing, creating jobs and preventing gang violence in Chicago.
But it didn’t quite go that way.
In a wide-ranging oval office rant Ye swung from lamenting not having a lot of male influence in his life due to his parent’s divorce, how welfare keeps Black folks from working, how he dreams of Trump and Kaepernick meeting at the Super Bowl both wearing MAGA hats, and endless praise for the president.

And of course Twitter had to clap back at the coonery in the oval office.
It sounds like Kanye learned about US history and the economy through a game of telephone. He needs help. Please take the cameras off him.

Oh boy. Kanye is having a full blown manic episode on national TV. This is just sad. pic.twitter.com/nM5UOeerku

Dear trump supporters: Kanye is playing you the same way he’s playing us. Trust. Also, trump’s playing you the same way he’s playing us, but we can get back to dealing with that after we settle this whole Kanye thing.

I have daddy issues too, Kanye. Work them out on Grindr like a normal person.

Kanye is in the White House as a PR stunt but he’s the one who’s being used. Trump’s getting faux legitimacy (he gets to tell white people, “How could anyone call me racist when Kanye West loves me?”) What does Kanye get to say? “I’m big enough to get a pointless visit w Trump?”
