It has been two days since the Midterm Elections and the concession of Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillium. However, Gilliums promise may come true after additional votes were counted Wednesday afternoon that cut Ron Desantis lead down to 0.62%, meaning an automatic recount can occur if the margin of victory falls below 0.5%. If there is a recount, a notice will be sent from the Florida Secretary of State.
President Donald Trump, held a 90-minute press conference yesterday following the midterm elections and things got pretty hostile when Trump got into numerous arguments with different members of the media.
Attorney General Jeff Session has submitted his resignation, stating to Trump “ At your request, I am submitting my resignation.”
President Trump later tweeted the following:
We are pleased to announce that Matthew G. Whitaker, Chief of Staff to Attorney General Jeff Sessions at the Department of Justice, will become our new Acting Attorney General of the United States. He will serve our Country well….
