Arrest made in Airbnb home invasion involving Magic Johnson’s daughter
TMZ reports that the police have a man in custody who they say perpetrated an armed robbery at a house rented by friends of Elisa Johnson. At the time of the alleged incident, Johnson ran to the safety of a neighbor’s house where she dialed 911.
The assailants allegedly broke into the home in LA’s San Fernando Valley back in December and held nine people at gunpoint before reportedly making off with a Rolex watch, jewelry, cash, and electronics totaling $30,000-$40,000.
Johnson was in a bedroom and managed to escape via a sliding glass door during the incident.

TMZ reports that the 25-year-old male arrested in connection with the crime is a parolee who was taken into custody while at his parole office. He is being held in custody without bail and facing multiple counts of robbery.
A second suspect remains at large, and he has also not been identified, according to police.
The Grio previously reported, the two armed robbers held nine people in the home at gunpoint, but no one was harmed.
“There have been over 400 million guest arrivals in Airbnb listings and negative incidents are extremely rare,” a spokesperson for the company said in a statement to the Daily News.

“We are urgently investigating this incident and are reaching out to our community members and local law enforcement to better understand what happened.”
TMZ obtained surveillance video from a neighbor’s home on the night of the crim which showed two suspicious males lurking on the block a few hours before the home invasion.
Johnson has appeared on Rich Kids of Beverly Hills and her brother EJ’s spinoff, EJNYC. Elisa was adopted by Magic and Cookie Johnson in 1995.
