Another entitled white male in Trump’s America became enraged when he overheard a woman speaking Spanish with her mother at a Cracker Barrel in El Paso, Texas.

Video of the disturbing incident was shared on Facebook in which the man confronts the woman saying  “This is America. Speak English.”

Jasmin Nolan says she was having a conversation with her mother when a man interrupted them, Yahoo reports. That’s when she began filming the moment. The man can also be heard asking, “Why can’t you speak English?”

“Oh I can — I can speak English and Spanish,” she says in the video. “I’m bilingual and in this country, I can speak whatever language I want.”

Nolan said she and her mother were walking out of the restaurant on Feb. 15 and talking about her wedding plans when he interjected himself.

When she calls out his open can of beer outside the restaurant, the man defends his actions by blaming it on being a veteran suffering from PTSD. Nolan then noted that her husband is currently serving.

“You’re not going to use the Army to back up your racism. The Army and military in general is a culturally diverse employer with all kinds of languages and ethnicities,” she said.

In her Facebook post, Nolan wrote, “How is this man going to make me feel bad for knowing two languages. How is this man going to disrespect my mother in front of me – a mother who taught me how to love America all of my life. A mother who encouraged me to learn English and who I have seen take on the language herself as an adult.”

Janella Escobar, director of corporate communications at Cracker Barrel, reacted to the viral video and said in a statement: “We at Cracker Barrel are governed by our mission of Pleasing People. In the spirit of those two simple words, we operate within the ideals of fairness, mutual respect and equal treatment of all people,” Escobar said. “These ideals are at the core of our corporate culture and evident in our stores. We respect all individuals regardless of who they are or what they believe and we require the same mutual respect amongst our employees, guests and vendors.”

Nolan said she has received gotten a lot of positive feedback from the post but explained that there has also been some critics.
