The daughter of famed professional boxer George Foreman died this past weekend and authorities in Texas say all signs point to suicide as she was found hanged.

Initial reports confirmed that 42-year-old Freeda Foreman was found unresponsive inside her Houston home on Saturday, CNN affiliate KTRK reported. Police said there was no suspicion of foul play.

Freeda Foreman followed in her famous father’s footsteps as a professional middleweight boxer. She fought professionally for 17 months in 2000-01 and her career ended with a 5-1 record. She was also a boxing promoter and staunch advocate for criminal justice reform.

Her official cause of death has not been announced by a coroner.

Late Sunday, George Foreman hit up his Twitter account to note how this would be his “first Sunday in 42 years without my Freeda.”

“Daddy I want to box, ‘Get an Education first’ I said, well she Brought The bacon home (degree) 2 kids 3 grands (husband),” he said in a tweet. “She’s with her maker now. 10 kids forever. Just 1 more day I wanted okay 1 more year aw 1 more decade.”

KHOU 11 also reported how he responded to fans who sent their condolences.

“I remember you and Freeda in a King of the Hill episode. Sounded like you guys had a lot of fun. Wishing your family the best during this difficult time. 1 reply 3 retweets 43 likes Reply 1,” tweeted @jmaldonadojr02.

“@GeorgeForeman you are such a terrific example of what we should all aspire to. During a difficult time with your only family tragedy you are offering prayers to others on Twitter. You do it without fanfare or publicity, because you are a wonderful person,” tweeted @candidlycdn.

“Wow, Thank you; gotta show this one to my family,” responded George.

Freeda was one of George’s 12 children and she leaves behind a husband, two kids, three grandchildren and 11 siblings, according to TMZ.

Freeda’s mother, Andre Skeete, said she last spoke with her daughter on Thursday.

“She asked me a couple of weeks ago … ‘Mom, what was the biggest joy of your life?’ And I told her, ‘The day that you were put in my arms,’” Skeete recalled in an exclusive interview with KHOU 11 on Sunday.
