The Los Angeles Police Department says it has identified a suspect in the murder of beloved rapper Nipsey Hussle.

Shortly after a large gathering at Hussle’s memorial ended with a stampede due to fear, police announced that Eric Holder was as suspect for the shooting death.

Holder is a 29-year-old LA resident, known as “Shitty Cuz” or “Fly Mac,” suspected to have ties to the streets and a wannabe rapper, according to Heavy.

Holder identified as the man who walked up to Hussle and others gathered in front of his store in broad daylight and shot them.

According to TMZ, video shows a man shooting Hussle three different times, kicking his body and leaving the scene.

A motive has not been officially given at this time, but TMZ reports that sources say the shooting took place after a personal dispute.

Police say Holder fled the scene in a white Chevy Cruze with a female driver and are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Nipsey Hussle, born Ermias Asghedom, was 33 years old and leaves behind two children, and his partner, actress Lauren London.

He had a meeting planned with LAPD about curbing gang violence.
