Kevin Hart is ready to invite the world into his personal life in the upcoming docu-series Don’t F–k This Up.

The comedian has had a bumpy ride over the last year and he intends to share his journey with his fans in the six-part project set to hit Netflix on December 27.

According to Variety:

The series will follow the comedian’s day-to-day lifestyle as he tackles what it means to be a partner, father, role model, and business man as well as offer an inside look at some of the major moments he endured within the last year. That includes the now-infamous Oscars debacle following the resurfacing of Hart’s previous homophobic comments.

Now word on whether or not the docs-series will include Hart’s road to recovery following the terrifying car accident that left him with major back injuries in September.

“September 1, 2019 I was involved in an accident. My life was forever changed,” he shared in an Instagram post. “No matter how much you think you’re in control, you’re not in control. At the end of the day, it could all be over.”

Earlier this month, Hart hit his first red carpet since the horrific accident at the E! People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. There, he accepted the accolade for comedy movie star of 2019. During his heartfelt acceptance speech, he thanked his family for their unconditional support.

“First and foremost, thank God, because I definitely don’t have to be here,” the Jumanji star said.

“Being that I am, it makes me appreciate life even more. It makes me appreciate the things that really matter: family. I want to thank my wife, my kids, who really stepped up to the plate for me,” said the father of three, referencing his wife Eniko and his three kids, Hendrix, 12, Kenzo, 2, and daughter Heaven, 14.

And Hart thanked his ride-or-die fans who sent a barrage of well wishes his way after a friend crashed his Plymouth Barracuda, where he was a passenger. It was a tough time for the funnyman and the road to recovery has been no laughing matter.
