Jordyn Woods gushes about new relationship with NBA’s Karl-Anthony Towns: ‘I found you’

Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns shouted each other out on Instagram

Jordyn Woods has found love despite being the center of a scandal.

Last February, Woods was in the headlines for kissing Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloé Kardashian’s daughter, True. The young model found herself in the middle of what appeared as the perfect storyline for Keeping Up With The Kardashians when Kardashian accused Woods of breaking up her family. Due to Kardashian’s claim, Woods found herself in the court of public opinion and even sat down with Jada Pinkett Smith on The Red Table Talk to clear her name.

Now Woods is speaking out about how her life has changed since the scandal of 2019 erupted. Her career has taken off, she can be spotted in videos and TV and found love with Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns. The two have became Instagram official.

“I found you, then I found me,” she captioned a post over the weekend with her arms wrapped around him.

Towns returned the social media shoutout.

“There are darknesses in life and there are lights, and you are one of the lights, the light of all lights ?,” he wrote on IG.

In a recent conversation with Natalie Manuel Lee‘s Now with Natalie, she took accountability for her past actions and spoke about her personal growth.

Woods recalled how she felt after the scandal broke.

“I remember just sitting in a very dark place. I had my family to talk to, I had you to talk to, but I just felt like I had no one,” said Woods.

“You take everything you think you know for a whole decade, the people you think you know, the life you think you know, everything that you’ve grown up doing and you take it all away from someone. I didn’t even know how to feel…I deleted everything off of my phone. I wouldn’t respond to anyone. I responded to about two people. I pushed people away that probably shouldn’t have been pushed away but I just couldn’t trust anyone. Everything in my life changed.”

But despite what happened in the past, Woods was able to forgive herself.

“Looking at the situation, ‘Okay what did I do, what role did I play in this, how was I responsible, how can I be held accountable, how can I take responsibility for what happened?’ Things happen and that’s what makes us human,” she said to Lee.

“But just acceptance and accountability and responsibility. I feel like people in this generation lack accountability and when you can’t accept what you’ve done or you can’t accept that, then you can’t heal from.”

Most recently fans were shocked when Woods posted a photo on the beach with her new lover—both in matching Versace bathing suits. The former best friend to Kylie Jenner said she is no longer punishing herself for her past mistakes.

“It’s easy to beat yourself up over things that you could have done differently,” said Woods.  “But you can’t hold on to what you could have or should have done, you just have to accept what actually happened and then you can let it go. It might take you a month to let it go, it might take you a year to let it go but you have to start praying to be able to let it go.”
