Missing St. Louis toddler found with large pit bull
A good Samaritan found missing St. Louis toddler, Kh'amorion Taylor
A St. Louis toddler was reunited with his father after spending the morning of Oct.1 wandering the streets with a pit bull.
A woman was walking her own dogs and spotted Kh’amorion Taylor around 8 A.M. walking barefoot in his pajamas. “He looked well taken care of, he was very neat, very clean; he just didn’t have the shoes on,” the woman who did not want to be identified told FOX 2. She said it appeared as if the dog was guarding the boy.

Taylor had somehow figured out how to get out of his father’s house alone but the woman says the boy appeared to be well taken care of so she started knocking on doors and asking neighbors if they knew the boy.
“I knocked on the doors up and down the street. Knocked on the doors, no answers; no one who did answer, they didn’t recognize the child,” said the good Samaritan.
She says it was only right to go above and beyond to find where the child belonged and that communities band together.
“It is important that we stick together, that we help each other, that we go back to the things that our grandparents and their community used to do,” she said. “That we build a sense of unity.”

The father eventually saw his son on a social media post and was able to pick up Taylor who kept saying “puppy” in reference to the stray dog who had protected him.
Dogs are living up to their title as man’s best friend. Just recently a stray dog in Georgia was seen helping kids cross a congested and busy street while barking at cars to slow down.
Now St. Louis police are thinking about adopting the heroic pit bull.
