Detroit woman says she woke up to pastor urinating on her during flight

Alicia Beverly of Detroit has been experiencing anxiety ever since the incident

A woman is overwhelmed with anxiety after a pastor urinated on her while she was sleeping on a plane.

Alicia Beverly was returning home after a girls trip with her sister in Las Vegas on Monday night. During the red-eye flight, Beverly along with the rest of the plane had drifted off to sleep until a feeling caused her to wake up and scream.

“It felt warm, like on the side of me I felt something warm,” said Beverly per Fox 2 Detroit.

“I jump up and I seen his private area out and I screamed and that woke everybody up,” she said. “By that time I actually looked at him and I see him shake himself off and I’m like this man just peed on me! I looked and there was a puddle of pee in the seats!”

The man is a well-known pastor from North Carolina who has not yet been publicly named. Sources claim he had a bad reaction from a sleeping aid. “He didn’t say anything the whole time he was standing there,” said Beverly.

An off duty police officer was on the flight and apprehended the man once he heard Beverly scream. Once the plane landed, he was taken into custody but it is unclear what he was charged with.

When an incident happens on a plane the FBI is the department to handle it so they are investigating the situation. After the incident, Beverly had to sit in wet clothes for hours until the plane landed. She says she has been uneasy since the incident took place.

“I left work yesterday because I couldn’t stay,” says Beverly. “But I had to tell them why I needed to leave. It was a lot. My anxiety was really high literally. Since then I have only gotten 4 hours of sleep.”
