Nicki Minaj on arrival of newborn son: ‘Madly in love’
Nicki Minaj announced on Instagram that she received well wishes from Beyoncé and Kanye West on the birth of her son
It has been confirmed Nicki Minaj welcomed a baby boy.
The rapper took to Instagram on Thursday to share a congratulatory note from Beyoncé, reading, “Welcome to motherhood, God bless you and your family.” She signed it simply, “B.”
Minaj has been very quiet since she announced her pregnancy and gave birth.

“Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time. It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world. ????,” she captioned the Instagram post.
Minaj is married to Kenneth “Zoo” Petty and sources close to the couple told People the baby was born on September 30th in Los Angeles.
Model Winne Harlow also sent Minaj sweet wishes according to People. “Baby Barb on Board! Congratulations sis, happy for the healthy delivery of your first bundle of joy,” wrote Harlow, 26. “Sending you blessings and prayers on this new journey.”
A few months back Minaj tweeted, “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me … Love you for LIFE.”

Minaj’s mother, Carol, also took to social media to wish her daughter well. Per iheart.com she said, “Thank you Lord for Blessing my daughter @nickiminaj with a beautiful bundle of joy!” she wrote on October 2. “You have always been a Blessing to myself and your family, and now you have received one of the best Blessings from God.”
It is unclear whether or not the Queen rapper has retired considering she is currently featured on songs and has an alleged project with Cardi B in the works. But she has made good on her promise to start a family.
