Tiffany Haddish on Common’s Sexiest Man photoshoot: ‘I helped him with those abs’
Tiffany Haddish visited the Ellen DeGeneres Show as guest host and shared how she helped Common with the steamy photoshoot.
Tiffany Haddish guest-hosted the latest episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and shared how she influenced rapper Common‘s ‘Sexiest Man’ photoshoot.

The two are currently dating and have been vocal about their romance. theGrio reported earlier this month that Common shut down rumors of a breakup and provided an update the pair are “doing wonderful.”
“She’s a really incredible human being, and the more I get to know her, I just see how dynamic she is as a person. How intelligent, how selfless she is, how she stands up in Hollywood for black women. I’m learning. You know what I mean? She takes it like the law,” he remarked.
Recently, the artist was featured in PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive issue and had to do a photoshoot to commemorate the moment. Haddish shared how she played a part in the success of the steamy photos on Friday’s episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“The day that I found out that he was gonna be in this, I showed up to his house, he had exercise equipment all outside,” she said.
She continued to explain how she suggested an airbrush makeup tip to define her boyfriend’s stomach.
“We gon’ have to do something about those abs,” she said. “I was like, let me talk to the makeup artist and I was like, ‘This is how you fill it in and make the shades so he’s got nice sexy abs.”

Her hands-on efforts are also echoed by common during his interview for the magazine. He shared how together the two actors work together as partners. During the conversation, he opened up on how he has tried to introduce the Girls Trip star to some of his vegan foods and how she has attempted to teach him how to cook.
“I would definitely say that we definitely inspire each other,” he said to PEOPLE. “If we think of grooming too, and that translates into styling and I will bounce ideas off of her, and she will check with me and ask how certain things look, how well she’s put together.”
“I follow my intuition more than anything, but I respect the support and ideas. And she gives me the same thing and she does the same thing,” he added. “She gives me this beard oil that if I want my beard to grow faster. So she supports my grooming but is also looking to enhance it.”
theGrio reported Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan was selected for the top spot on PEOPLE’s 2020’s Sexiest Man Alive issue. The 33-year-old joined the ranks of Denzel Washington, Idris Elba, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and others in receiving the honor since its beginning in 1985.
