The Peaches are Back
It’s been over a year since the premiere of season 11 and now The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back. This season is a mixture of old and new ‘wives’ Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Drew Sidora, along with longtime friend of the housewives Marlo Hampton, now promoted to a series regular.
Shereé Whitfield is back after a few years off and Olympic gold-medalist and RHOA newbie Sanya Richards-Ross joins the cast. This highly anticipated season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is a refreshing shake-up to the series with brand new fashions, comedy, and of course, drama.

Sanya Richards-Ross Spills on ‘RHOA’
The brand new ATL Real Housewife stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to promote the new season. The first Olympian and first Jamaican housewife, Richards-Ross spilled some tea on her castmates and why she wanted to do the show. When asked which past housewife she’s most similar to, she said Cynthia Bailey, “with a Jamaican edge.”
She teased some friction with Drew Sidora, who she knew before filming the series. While admitting she felt Sidora wasn’t “keeping it 100” with her, she explained that their relationship really “ebbs and flows” throughout the season. “Things kind of got tricky very quickly,” she explained.

‘Selling Sunset’ Introduces Chelsea Lazkani
Selling Sunset, Netflix’s popular real estate-focused reality TV series is back with a new cast member. A 29-year-old British Nigerian realtor, Lazkani is certainly making a splash this season, with major real estate and reality TV chops.
“It’s not that [Selling Sunset] wasn’t in my lane—it totally is—I just didn’t have time to watch reality TV,” she told Marie Claire in a recent interview. Joining the all-white cast turned out to be an advantage for her given her chosen career.
“Having worked in corporate and in the energy field, I was in a very white, male-dominated space. I had many times in life where it felt like, ‘Wow, I wish there was more representation in these great rooms— where you have intelligent people doing really amazing things.'”
She added, “I want to take this opportunity [for fellow women of color], because I’m constantly in these rooms and I don’t want to be the only one. It just starts with one, and then hopefully that one opens the door for others. So for me, it was all about paving the way. And there was no fear or anxiety or, ‘Oh my gosh, how are they gonna receive it?'”
Selling Sunset season 5 is available to stream now.
