About Dr. Tyeese L. Gaines

Dr. Tyeese Gaines is a medical journalist with more than 20 years of print and broadcast experience, and a board-certified emergency medicine physician with years of healthcare management experience. Since earning her master's degree in journalism from Northeastern University in 2003, Dr. Ty has appeared as an on-air medical expert for local and national news shows and written for various online, magazine and newspaper outlets. She currently hosts the Black America's Health Youtube series.
