Submitting Articles to theGrio.com
TheGrio.com welcomes unsolicited written contributions.
Writers submitting to the website are strongly encouraged to send brief query emails (250 words or less). We do not accept articles or parts of articles that have been published elsewhere. Written pieces usually run between 400 and 500 words, though some longer articles may be accepted. We are looking for well-informed, punchy writing concerning the African-American experience.

Please briefly summarize your article proposal and your relevant experience.
Thank you for your interest.
