Greetings Grio Fam!
This week, the worlds of fashion, music, and celebrity collided, and theGrio was there for it all.

Sergio Hudson had something to say, and he didn’t hold back. The designer, known for dressing everyone from Beyoncé to Michelle Obama, called out A-listers for not showing up for Black designers the way they should during New York Fashion Week.

That same spirit of legacy and accountability carried onto the runway at Actively Black’s NYFW show, where the daughters of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. made a powerful walk. It wasn’t just about the clothes—it was about history stepping forward in style, reminding everyone that fashion is storytelling, too.

Over in Rome, history was made again, this time on the global stage of the Vatican. Clipse, Pharrell, and John Legend turned the sacred space into a first-of-its-kind hip-hop performance. The brothers from Virginia became the first rap group to ever perform there, making the moment as groundbreaking as it was surreal.

And in one of the most unfiltered moments yet this week, Cardi B sat down with Kelly Rowland for a conversation that was as candid as you’d imagine. Cardi opened up about the drama behind her forthcoming album, “Am I the Drama?” and who has been the drama for her.

Check out all of those stories and more at theGrio.com. Read and share. Your support is vital to the continued telling of Black stories you love. We amplify our voices because that is the highest form of Black love — sharing is caring.

In solidarity,
