After a turbulent week for Chad Johnson, sparked by his alleged domestic dispute with wife Evelyn Lozada, he faces another setback as he’s been dropped from the coconut water brand Zico’s endorsement deal. ESPN.com reports the drink company just signed Johnson at the end of July, but that Zico now says:

The Zico brand is about supporting naturally powered athletes. We partnered with Chad Johnson because of our great respect for what he has achieved on the playing field. However, in light of recent events involving Mr. Johnson, we have decided to terminate our relationship. The values we espouse, through our employees, our customers and our brand, are central to our mission. We have taken this proactive step to demonstrate just how important those values are.

In the past week, Chad Johnson was charged with domestic violence, released in a televised meeting from the Miami Dolphins, and his wife of 6 weeks is filed for divorce.
