First lady to President Obama: ‘I love you more than ever’

theGRIO REPORT - Michelle Obama posted a heart-warming photo of her and President Obama in honor of his 52nd birthday.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

President Barack Obama celebrated his 52nd birthday on Sunday and it set off a social media frenzy after millions shared their well wishes via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

But one post in particular held a little more meaning – it was a photo his wife Michelle posted on her Instagram account that afternoon showing the two as a young couple, affectionately sitting together on a couch.

The photo is not dated but appears black-and-white and portrays the two in their earlier years.

The first lady published the photo on Sunday in honor of her husband’s birthday. The caption read:

“Happy birthday, Barack! Your hair’s a little grayer, but I love you more than ever,” – and it was signed with her initials, “mo.”

The photo received over 59,000 likes and hundreds of comments, reflecting thoughts from many who appreciated the moment of “true love” the image captured.

This isn’t the first “throwback” picture Mrs. Obama has posted to her account – the mother of two daughters, Sasha and Malia, has published family photos from when the girls were younger along with images of her travels around the world.

Mrs. Obama created her account on Instagram on June 27 during her trip to Africa.
