Marketing exec Bozoma ‘Boz’ Saint John has made a name for herself in the entertainment field by securing high-profile celebrity endorsements for the many brands she’s overseen in her career.

Saint John is the woman responsible for making Beyoncé one of the many faces for Pepsi and for Katy Perry performing at the Super Bowl.

Now she will be taking her considerable talents to Beats Music as their new global director.

“Boz’s passion for music and experience working directly with artists on behalf of a powerful international brand makes her a perfect fit for Beats Music,” said CEO Ian Rogers. “We’re fortunate to have her on our team.”

Beats Music launched this past January as an offshoot of Dr.Dre’s wildly successful BEATs by Dre headphones.

Beats Music is a subscription based music service that competes with fellow upstarts Rhapsody and Spotify. Embracing her new role, Saint John believes this new opportunity is a dream come true.

“When I was in the 10th grade I decided to run for a position on the student council with the campaign slogan ‘Nuthin but a Boz thang’ so you might say joining Beats Music is like coming full circle,” said Saint John. “I’ve been working my whole career to get here! I’m thrilled, and ready to win.”
