The album, slated to be released September 17th, has steered away from hinting at any features but speculations circulate that Drake will be joining forces with Jay Z and The Weeknd.
2. John Legend
The soulful musician says his fourth upcoming studio project that will talk love, romance and relationships. Slated for a September release, the singer/songwriter features Rick Ross on his lead single, “Who Do We Think We Are”, along with label signee, Stacey Barthe and Seal who will appear on the album’s deluxe version.

Nickelodeon star and breakthrough artist, Ariana Grande is topping the charts with her critically acclaimed single, “The Way”, featuring Mac Miller. As the 20-year-old soprano singer prepares to showcase her budding talent through her debut album ‘Yours Truly’, Grande continues to shock the world by mirroring notes comparable to the legendary Mariah Carey.
Following the April release of his latest mix tape, Common, is dropping his tenth solo album just in time for the fall season, which will feature Kanye West along with production credits from Kanye and No I.D.

Grammy Award winning hip hop/neo soul band, The Roots, took to social media earlier this summer to reveal the 12-song track list to the upcoming album, ‘Wise Up Ghost’. Taking an unconventional turn in teaming up with legendary British singer-songwriter, Elvis Costello, the melodic project will be released September 17th.
The re-emergence of one of the best selling rappers of all time has the hip hop scene buzzing. Rumors speculate that the unconfirmed album date is set for Labor Day (Sept. 2nd). This highly-anticipated 2013 album will follow after Em concludes a brief European tour set to kick start this month.
7. Justin Timberlake
The global successes of Justin’s ’20/20 Experience’, sets up anticipation for Justin’s follow up production, ‘The 20/20 Experience- 2 of 2’. Featuring the latest lead single, Take Back The Night, the album will hit stores September 30th.
‘My Name Is My Name Is’, the upcoming debut studio record from rapper Pusha-T, is scheduled for release early this fall. Dropping his official album under G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam, Pusha has enlisted a team of industry heavy hitters from Kanye West, Hudson Mohawke, The Neptunes, and The-Dream.
9. The Weeknd
Canadian singer, Abel Tesfaye, also known as the Weeknd, is gearing up for his debut album titled ‘Kiss Land’. Releasing three mix tapes 2 years ago, the budding star is stirring talk around his September 30th release, in which he revealed to Complex magazine, to be channeling a dark and terrifying place with intentions to capture fear.
Earlier this week, English recording artist, M.I.A. threatened to leak her impending and previously unscheduled album, ‘Mantangi’, if the record label didn’t secure an official release date. The public have not received intimate details regarding the album, but the radical singer’s demands were met, as the label is announcing a launch, November 5th.
11. Janelle Monae
The R&B singer’s 2010 debut album The ArchAndroid, is still getting spins in theGrio office. Janelle’s sophomore project, ‘The Electric Lady’ is set to drop September 10th and will feature, Erykah Badu, Prince, and Miguel.
