A 30-year-old woman was traveling from Jamaica to the United States when, according to customs officials, she swallowed 68 cocaine pellets in an attempt to smuggle them into the U.S.

Once Venesya Oldacre was taken to the hospital by authorities, she passed the drugs out of her system, and the pellets were found to have 1.5 pounds of drugs in them.

Oldacre reportedly told customs officials that she had planned to stay at the Red Roof Inn in Fort Lauderdale until she passed the pellets, at which point she would be paid $3,000 for smuggling the drugs, which are worth an estimated $21,000.

Oldacre is scheduled to be arraigned on September 23 and faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
