K. Michelle started out her Instagram post with a look back on her life and accomplishments: “My life has taken me places I would’ve never thought. I graduated from Florida A&M University with honors, and later was accepted into numerous law schools. Then one wrong turn and my life changed. From ratchet reality TV, Twitter fights, to currently making history as the 1st African-American to ever receive an endorsement and their own beverage brand through Jack Daniels. So many wrong turns, but a constant fight to get back on the right track. It’s takin some time.”
