The 25-year-old rapper took to social media to vent about the fame that “Bodak Yellow” brought her, saying that she doesn’t “bother anybody” and just wants to live her life.
“Everyday, it’s so sickening like. It’s so f*cking annoying. I don’t even want to be f*cking famous anymore. I feel like I don’t. I really don’t. I really don’t even care; I just want to make money,” Cardi said in the video.
The Bronx native added that she was done with all of the drama, saying, “Soon as I buy my f*cking house (throws up peace sign). I’m just tired of everybody’s bullsh*t. I don’t bother anybody. I mind my f*cking business. B*tches is popping sh*t all the f*cking time.”
It’s not clear what started the tirade, though it is true that there has been an increased spotlight on the rapper not only with her history-making success with “Bodak Yellow” but with her engagement to Offset. In fact, rumors are already swirling that she and fiancée Offset are being courted by networks hoping to televise their big wedding day.
