Dad on trial for killing son over sexual contact with tot

A Michigan father has been ordered to stand trial for killing his 15-year-old son after learning the boy raped his own young stepsister.

Jamar Pinkney Sr. of Highland Park, Michigan, is charged with first-degree murder after witnesses say he forced the teen to strip, then shot him in the head – execution style.

Attorneys are pursuing an insanity defense saying Pinkney was so upset by the boy’s confession he couldn’t control himself.

Authorities haven’t said if they believe the teen raped the three year-old girl and that it’s not part of the murder investigation.
