Homeless couple ties the knot

It’s every girl’s dream day…and to make this one come true. Several hands helped out.
“It’s been rough because money, we didn’t have any,” said Deborah McLaughlin the bride.
The bride and groom don’t have a home. Let alone money to pay for a wedding.
Robert Towns and McLaughlin had been dating for years. But both have recently been living at the homeless center.
“I met Robert at the hope rescue mission and as far as background we’ve been together seven and half years and decided to tie the knot.”
The flowers, rings, church and reception hall were all donated — and even the military uniform the groom is wearing.
A band called Miller’s Vets for Homeless Veterans was started by Judge Miller, Sr. this year. Miller also became a wedding coordinator of sorts and ended up giving away the bride.
The newlywed’s own pastor, Rev. Erskine Jones, married them.
