A poster on the door of Florida urologist Dr. Jack Cassell reads:

“If you voted for Obama, seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your health care begin right now, not in four years.”

Cassell says that he has never denied care to a patient, but wants to make a point.

Local resident Estalla Chatman was angered by the sign.

Chatman, who as a teenager marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, took a photo and sent it to Florida Congressman Alan Grayson.

After the story started gaining attention, she received a nasty, hate-filled backlash that included at least one racist rant left on her answering machine.

Chatman says she won’t let the negative attention rattle her, and Dr. Cassell says he doesn’t condone those types of tactics.

“I don’t condone it at all, there’s a lot of crazy people out there. I think the good outweighs the bad,” he said.

Cassell says most of his patients have been supportive, although a few have complained.

His wife is currently running for a seat on the county commission as a Republican.
