WASHINGTON (AP) — Albert Haynesworth’s agent says there’s no truth to a complaint that the Washington Redskins defensive lineman sexually abused a waitress.
WRC-TV reported that according to a police report, the waitress said Haynesworth touched her breast while paying his bill early Sunday at a downtown Washington hotel.
His agent Chad Speck said Monday that Haynesworth is considering his own legal action over what may have happened.
D.C. police spokeswoman Officer Tisha Gant says an investigation in under way but would not say for what alleged offense or confirm whether Haynesworth is a suspect. No charges have filed.
Haynesworth has been dealing with many legal issues since joining the Redskins in 2009. On Saturday he was charged with misdemeanor assault in a road rage investigation.
