Police have made a second arrest in the shooting that killed one man and injured two innocent bystanders near this year’s Caribbean Festival.
Twenty-year-old Deonte J. Bryant was charged with second degree murder on Tuesday, the Post reported, in connection to the murder of Robert Foster on June 25.
D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier called the incident, which happened on the corner of Gresham Place and Georgia Avenue, a gang-related shooting. Lanier said one man injured in the shooting was the target, and the three others, including the fatal victim, were all innocent bystanders. The shooting was not related to the parade, Lanier said.
