President Obama’s appearance on the Jay Leno’s Tonight Show Tuesday night rendered important conversations, including Libyan revolution, terrorism and chicken — fried chicken and waffles, to be exact.

“I’m eating the wings and you’ve got the hot sauce on there, the fancy presidential limousine smelling like chicken,” Obama said with a laugh.

The chicken described by the president as “outstanding” was from a Los Angeles restaurant called “Roscoes Chicken and Waffles.” You can’t help but wonder if the first lady was as smitten with his choice of comfort food.
