Yesterday first look photos of Halle Berry and Tom Hanks in the sci-fi film Cloud Atlas hit the web, and today a nearly six minute trailer has been released.

The film, based on David Mitchell’s 2004 novel, was adapted for the screen and co-directed by siblings Andy and Lana Wachowski (The Matrix) and Tom Tywker (Run Lola Run).

The trailer gives us a glimpse into the six time-bending story lines that are interwoven together. Berry and Hanks take on multiple roles reflective of each of the sci-fi book’s six stories.

Cloud Atlas hits theaters October 26th, and some have speculated that the film may re-ignite Berry’s on-screen career.

Other cast members featured in the trailer include Jim Broadbent, Ben Whishaw, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Susan Sarandon and Doona Bae.
