Debbie Allen wants to bring 'A Different World' back to TV
theGRIO REPORT - Debbie Allen recently tweeted that she wants to reboot the popular sitcom 'A Different World'....

Legendary producer and choreographer Debbie Allen is featured in the new issue of Ebony magazine, in which she talks about the popular ’80s/90s sitcom A Different World, a spin-off of The Cosby Show that aired for six seasons on NBC from 1987-1993.
The Fame star recently took to her Twitter account to promote her interview in the magazine, and also reveal that she wants to reboot A Different World.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, A Different World was transformed “from a bland Cosby spinoff into a lively, socially responsible, ensemble situation comedy” only after Debbie Allen took over as producer-director following the first season.
Allen, who is a graduate of historically black Howard University–drew from her college experiences to accurately reflect in the show the social and political life on black campuses.
