Tina Turner reportedly 'relinquishes' US citizenship

Rock icon Tina Turner has been very active in the past few months.

In July, she married her longtime boyfriend Erwin Bach and now according to the Washington Post, the 74-year-old is officially “reliquishing” her U.S. citizenship.

The “What’s Love Got to Do With It” singer has been based in Switzerland for decades and she became a Swiss citizen in April.

Turner, who reportedly speaks German fluently, had few ties to her native country “except for family, and has no plans to reside in the United States in the future.”
