Drake has recently caught some heat for his airing his grievances over not receiving the coveted Rolling Stone magazine cover after the publication’s staff made last-minute changes to commemorate actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s death.

“I’m done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That’s the only way my message gets across accurately,” Drake claimed after his comments leaked.

While Drake has since apologized for his outburst, fellow rapper and rival Kanye West saw things a little differently.

In his latest rant, which took place over the weekend at Newark, New Jersey show at the Prudential Center, Kanye defended Drake, claiming the media pits “musicians against one another.”

“That ain’t gonna go down no more,” West said. “We love Drake, we love every motherf**ker that put their heart into this motherf**king music.”
