LaTavia Roberson virtually vanished from the public spotlight after leaving Destiny’s Child in 2000.
Now, nearly 15 years later, the Grammy-winning singer is having her say, as a new cast member on TV One’s R&B Divas: Atlanta.

In an interview with theGrio, LaTavia discussed her upcoming tell-all memoir and revealed that she was molested at 7-years-old.
“I was a kid, I was 7-years-old and it wasn’t my fault,” LaTavia said. “Sometimes we point the finger at ourselves, and I knew that me understanding that that wasn’t the case, and I could possibly help another young girl that has gone through the same thing that I’ve been through… that helped me get through it a lot.”
