Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

After arguably the most successful year in his career, Pharrell was selected to curate the annual NBA2K15 video game soundtrack.

Just like Skateboard P, the playlist is as diverse and eclectic.

According to a Tweet from CBS Sports, the 27 tracks will feature Lauryn Hill, Lorde, Snoop Dogg and a few tracks from Pharrell that will enhance the player’s experience on the virtual hardwood.

Considering Jay-Z was the last big artist attached to the NBA2K franchise, Pharrell and his hat have some big shoes to fill.

NBA 2K will hit shelves October 7.
